Great read. Might even purchase the physical copy. If you are from the Manatee/Sarasota county area of Florida, grab this one. The book is not 100% page for page, marijuana related, despite having a huge marijuana leaf on the cover, the name of a potent strain of marijuana and a man who was once surrounded by legal troubles over the issue of marijuana cultivation, etc. Older folks will enjoy the memories/nostalgia and younger folks will enjoy learning history and a bit about how the area used to be and how things were done back then and how everything has changed, today. Plenty of humorous parts in there, as well. Donnie reminds me of myself with pulling pranks on people and such. Two thumbs up.Product details

I really enjoyed this book, being raised in Manatee County, brought many wonderful memories. I feel Donnie did a wonderful job in writting, even when he pointed out on several occasions he could not spell. He has a way with character description, doesn't need spell correct on. Love the whole book, from start to finish....I am very glad he took his time to put into words,his great experience through his life so far. Hopefully he will come out with a second edition...I would be First in line.
May his life be blessed with lot more laughter and Love....
I was not expecting an autobiography, I thought it was supposed to be the story behind a drug bust. If you like reading about someones life on the farm in Florida, this book is for you.
The book was okay. A lot of funnies. But def not a novel. More like scattered thoughts that lead to life stories.
I had heard the story of the FBI coming into this little town in Florida but no one seemed to have many details. It was great hearing the story from one of the main players. He also has many other funny stories about growing up in Bradenton.
I absolutely LOVED this book. (I'm almost sad I'm done..). One thing Donnie shows you is ATTITUDE is EVERYTHING!!! No matter what you're dealt or where you are... If you have the right outlook, you can conquer anything!!! I highly recommend this book!!!
